Alemay Fernandez is a rising star on the Asian jazz scene.She has performed with The Count Basie Orchestra, David Foster and The Platters' Bobby Soul and opened for living legend Laura Fygi. Alemay shared the lineup with Natalie Cole in the region's premiere jazz festival, Java Jazz, and has performed for A-listers like Kevin Spacey, Ethan Hawke, Joss Stone, Kurt Ellington and Singapore's President SR Nathan.

Alemay is known for her powerhouse vocals, scatting and an onstage presence that keeps the audience eating out of the palm of her hand. In 2012 The Esplanade Theatres on The Bay gave her the award for "Biggest Lungs" at their 10th anniversary gala.

A stage veteran, she performed lead roles in the musicals Beauty World (2008) and Fried Rice Paradise (2010).
