Terraforma is an experimental and sustainable music festival happening since 2014 in the garden of Villa Arconati near Milan, Italy. Since the very first edition the three-days event has been pushing the boundaries of sound, unraveling a path from techno, to jazz and folk with an eye for ambient music and experimentation. The festival chooses sustainability as its modus operandi, aiming to discover new sustainable resources and to reduce the environmental impact. Ruggero Pietromarchi, founder and art director of Terraforma, has been organizing a vast array of events related to music and arts since 2012 as well as being the co-curator of Presto!? Records with Lorenzo Senni. The Berlin-based artist Marco Shuttle, who has performed at the past three editions of the Terraforma, operates in the abstract regions of dub techno, releasing on imprints such as The Bunker New York, Clone and Spazio Disponibile.
