World-renowned classical guitarist Diego Campagna is known as a charismatic performer, famed for his poetic and virtuosic repertoire.

Diego began studying the guitar under Carlo Ghersi and Mario Senise's direction in Sanremo, Italy, upon listening to a record by the unforgettable Maestro Andrés Segovia at the tender age of eight. He later continued his studies with Davide Ficco at the Conservatoire G.F. Ghedini in Cuneo where he obtained his doctorate, graduating with honors while still very young. From 2003 to 2006, he was admitted as the only Italian to study at the Salzburg Mozarteum University, graduating with full marks under Eliot Fisk, one of the greatest interpreters of our time and dedicatee of the Sequenza XI for solo guitar by Luciano Berio.

For several years he has performed extensively as a concert soloist and in chamber groups alongside renowned artists in some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls. He is also regularly invited to judge major national and international competitions.

On 30 January 2015, Diego debuted at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City where he received a “standing ovation” at the end of his recital and was immediately considered as one of the most prominent guitarists of his generation. In June 2014, after his master classes and concerts in Newport, Rhode Island, Maestro Campagna received the Key to the City by the mayor for his artistic merits and June 22nd was declared the "Diego Campagna Day ". On 5 July 2015, after his recital in Asuncion, Paraguay, at the presence of the Minister of Culture and the Ambassadors of seven countries, he received the title of "Illustrious Guest", again for his artistic and cultural merits, while obtaining in 2016 the honorary citizenship by the Mayor of Badalucco, Italy.

In 2015 he founded and still leads, as the Artistic Director of the Sanremo International Guitar Festival & Competition, one of the best guitar festivals in the world, the MusicalMente Festival in Badalucco. Diego is also the president and the artistic director of “Guitar & Friends” Italy (Imperia-Boston). Maestro Campagna has recorded for M.A.P. Classics Milan his last album "Music from a parallel world”, entirely dedicated to new compositions for guitar.

Samuel Mok is the artistic director of the Hong Kong International Guitar Festival, an active guitarist and concert player as well as an educator in Hong Kong. He majored in Guitar Performance and graduated from the Academy of Arts in Banska Bystric, Slovakia, Anton Bruckner University in Linz and Prayner Conservatory in Vienna, Austria. During his time in Austria, he studied guitar with Mr. Gabriel Guillen, Dr. Massimo Stefanizzi, Prof. Max Hrase and Prof. Marianne Waidhofer.

In the summer of 2012, Samuel began his postgraduate studies in 19th Century Performance Practice with Prof. Adrian Walter and Prof. Carlo Barone at Accademia l’Ottocento in Italy, and in that same year he travelled to Malaysia, Thailand, Shanghai, Taiwan, Slovakia, Austria, Italy, Russia, France, Germany and Spain, countries where he was invited to participate in festivals, perform in concerts and give master classes.

Some important world-class composers dedicated their work to Maestro Mok such as Arnaldo Freire (Brazil), Angelo Gilardino (Italy), Vincent Lindsey Clark (England), Jose Luis Merlin (Argentina).

Samuel has a long-time experience teaching and performing in his community. He promotes and teaches guitar music and knowledge in Hong Kong primary and secondary schools, youth centers and churches.

In 2004, he founded the Ensemble Guitar Adagio. Until now he is still the conductor and music director of the ensemble, which after years of promotion and dedication has been registered as an active guitar ensemble by the government.

Besides holding numerous concerts, in order to further promote guitar music in Hong Kong, Ensemble Guitar Adagio organized the “Hong Kong Guitar Festival 2008 and 2009" which included different guitar playing styles, with professional players invited from various countries such as England, Austria, China, Taiwan and others.
